80's Disco Library Fundraiser
So what's this all about?
Well, take two ladies (let's say: Aura Dunn & Ella Slayne) with an urge to re-live their youth and dance to their fave 80's tracks... now take a beloved local library that has been through a rocky patch and could use a bit of extra cash in the bank... put them together with a fun-loving & generous community who like to read and what do you get? A great night out that's what!
BOOGIE FOR BOOKS is a privately organized fundraiser. Basically we're throwing a party so that we can dress up in all our 80's gear, dance and raise money for the library at the same time. The money we raise could be put towards more books, refurbishment/maintenance & staffing costs (to ensure the library can remain fully open).
Tickets are available at the suggested donation price of $50 each. This covers drinks (wine/beer/punch), refreshments & some general 80's nonsense (YES OF COURSE THERE IS A PRIZE FOR BEST 80's OUTFIT!) plus vital funds for the library!
We want this to be a great night out and as we are covering all costs up front we need to know that we have enough people coming to make it viable so please get your tickets ASAP (just click on the paypal buttons) and GET READY TO BOOGIE! :-)
